Terms of Use

Terms for using lemungo.com.

§ 1 Scope & provider

These terms of use apply to the use of LeMungo (lemungo.com), offered by Markus Schön, Hüvener Straße 6, 49774 Lähden, Deutschland.

§ 2 The service

LeMungo is a tool for organising private group trips. Use is currently free of charge. There is no entitlement to continuous availability or to any particular feature; the service may be further developed, changed or discontinued.

§ 3 Account & minimum age

An account is required in order to use the service. Users must be at least 16 years old; younger users only with the consent of their legal guardians. Access credentials must be kept confidential.

§ 4 User obligations

Users may not post unlawful, abusive or infringing content. When uploading photos or videos, users must ensure that the rights of the people depicted are respected (consent, the right to one's own image).

It is further prohibited to read out, reproduce or evaluate the content of the service in an automated or systematic manner – for example by means of crawlers, bots, scrapers or comparable automated methods, including while using a signed-in account – without LeMungo's prior express consent. The content is intended exclusively for personal use within the respective trip group.

§ 5 User content

Content remains with the user. The user grants LeMungo the simple, non-commercial right to store and display the content for the purpose of showing it within the respective trip group. Photos and videos are stored in the cloud connected by the user.

§ 6 Cost feature

The cost and settlement feature is purely a record of who owes what to whom. LeMungo does not process any payments and is not a payment service. No warranty is given for the accuracy of the amounts entered by users.

§ 7 Availability & changes

Maintenance, faults or further development may affect availability. These terms may be adjusted where there is a legitimate reason; the version published here at the relevant time applies.

§ 8 Liability

LeMungo is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, LeMungo is liable only for breach of material contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. LeMungo is not responsible for user-generated content (§§ 7–10 of the German Digital Services Act, DDG); unlawful content can be reported to kontakt@lemungo.com and will be removed promptly once we become aware of it.

§ 9 Suspension & termination

Users may delete their account at any time in the settings. LeMungo may suspend accounts in the event of serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

§ 10 Data protection

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in the privacy policy.

§ 11 Final provisions

German law applies, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence as a consumer provide otherwise. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
